Well, confessions...

This is where I apologize to the lovely followers of my blog by saying that i have had other things on my hands! My blog is, sadly, not my top priority. Just so you are informed with my goings about, I will bring you up on occurrences.I took a weekend trip that rocked my socks and I went to Disneyland!! Pictures :) actually they are coming later because they are in my email and I really don't wanna have to go and save them and then put them on here. So when I have patience, I will do that... And, I mostly got on here cuz i wrote me a new poem. So you have to comment and tell me that it's good even if it's not. Just to boost my self-esteem.

Light in the Black

Never was a life gone by
that hadn't fought a battle,
There's always one raging on
casting a deep blue shadow
heavy as a mighty fog.

It always seems to be the case
that as time progresses on
that stakes are climbing higher
so the enemy will spare none.
You can't escape his black eyes.

Some people crack from relentless strain.
Others will simply fall.
Never has there been one soul
able to withstand all
except for one.

It is in this one our only light emits
from within the suffocating dark
He is our redeemer, our way to peace
the very hope to remove these marks;
the flaring marks of battle.

So raise your flag, your fresh resolve
and lift your heavy head.
This war is one worth fighting for.
Our heavenly brother did.
With him you conquer all.
